January 20, 2026: The Glades—Encounter Tables

The streets of the Glades are, by their residents' design, usually quiet and empty. Outside the Village Center, encounters in the Glades will be infrequent at all hours, but especially at night, and especially off the roads.

ENCOUNTER TEMPLATE:

1 A worker (repairman, builder, laither, etc.) on their way to or from one of the residents' manors. 2d8 bats
2 A servant on their way to or from their employer's manor. An owl

10 A bear If the PCs are on a road, a fallen log blocks the road. Otherwise, a large hole in the ground is concealed by brush, forming a natural pit trap.
11 A lost tourist or worker who made a wrong turn or strayed from the road and needs help finding their way 1d4 demonic cultists, on their way either to or from a secret meeting
12 A summoned creature that escaped its summoner and is wreaking havoc A secret meeting of 3d6 demonic cultists. There is a 20% chance that a demon is present.
