One of the worlds on my worldbuilding wiki that I kind of want to prioritize fleshing out for various reasons is the world of Curcalen, and in particular the nation of Djarvin, which I intend to kind of be a focal region for the world. So for the City '26 challenge, I decided to focus on one of the major cities of Djarvin, a city called Lüm.

While Lüm was mentioned in my worldbuilding wiki, I hadn't really determined anything about it other than that it was originally one of the League of Six, the six powerful city-states that dominated the region before it united into the modern nation of Djarvin, and that the University of Lüm is the most illustrious university in the nation. Other than that, it was pretty much a blank slate.

I spent the first day figuring out exactly where Lüm is located in Djarvin; I had a rough map of the nation of Djarvin, but Lüm wasn't marked on it. So I went ahead and decided where Lüm was located in the nation (along with the rest of the League of Six, while I was at it); as it turns out, it's in a marshy area on the west coast, with some forest inland and a river running through it roughly from east to west.

Anyway, since the one major thing I knew about Lüm was that there was an important university there, I figured I'd focus on the University of Lüm for the first (partial) week...
